Young Researchers Issue 25: Let's Take A Spin!

Dear Young Researchers,

Now's the time to play lots of games! What's your favorite game to play? Maybe puss in the corner, hide-and-seek, the floor is lava, or marbles? I wonder if any of you like to ride bicycles, swim or play ball?

For this issue, we started thinking about the motion of turning as we considered our favorite toys and the games we all like to play. So we tried to find examples of that motion and how it works. Based on our experiences, we got to thinking about riding bicycles, music boxes, hedgehogs, surprising plants that turn, and even the spinning of big tornadoes.
